Bay Bank Marketplace Now Available

The Bay Bank marketplace is now open for business in Maryland, Delaware, and select other states. Bay Bank is the Chesapeake’s conservation marketplace, linking landowners with resources to improve and protect the region’s natural resources and working lands. Bay Bank combines the best available tools to enable easy access to local, regional, and national ecosystem markets and conservation programs.
Bay Bank will use the Marketplace throughout 2010 to pilot test market-based environmental solutions in the Chesapeake region. At the beginning of 2011, the Marketplace will be launched in full for the entire Chesapeake region (New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia).
